I am the Owner of the Old Mill in Berkhamsted. I took the pub on after 2 years of the pub being under various holding managers and damaging the reputation of the beautiful listed building that is the Old Mill.

As you may or may not be aware, national government has recommended that people eat and drink outside. We have also been instructed that music isnt allowed to be inside to keep the noise levels down to a minimum. 

My issue was that the council weren't available before the end of lockdown, and I confess i didnt give the planning on a temporary structure, but they are now demanding that I put planning in, and possibly a removal of the tent!

The second issue is that people have now made complaints to the council about the noise levels from customers and music causing a nuisance over the summer. Music has been most Saturdays. My licence has been to hold music till 11pm, but for consideration I moved the time to 6.30 till 9pm overrunning on 1 occasion. 

So what i'm asking for, is for you to sign this petition so we can ask for planning permission for the tent and live music to carry on a Saturday night until 9pm.
