A.Ganapathy, a 40 year old Malaysian-Indian man died in ICU after spending 12 day in police custody on name suspect .

The deceased's 60-year-old mother, S.Thanaletchumy, said her son was healthy prior to his arrest, but had a history of diabetes and heart problems.

It was revealed that Ganapathy was BRUTALLY BEATEN UP by police officers with a rubber hose.

Ganapathy's family claimed that the beating caused the swollen and bruised leg.

Ganapathy's sister stated that she was barred from seeing her brother when she bought his medicines to the police station.
