In response to your petition the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have released a statement which confirms that " the building at Lauriston Place will be released from our property portfolio " and " the contents of the museum will be protected an relocated. " The Museum of Fire has already politely turned down a request to relocate the James Braidwood artefacts to the Clydesmill Training Centre, built by Strathclyde Fire and Rescue at Cambuslang. Please, may we ask you to forward the petition to even more friends and acquaintances to save the Museum of Fire, at the Central Fire Brigade Station, Lauriston Place, Edinburgh.
