The Issue

The people of Muila settled on the land belonging to Chief Mulima in 1979 after their king Lupenyo Muila was inaugurated by PR Mphephu. We dont know what tje arrangements were between Chief Muila and PR Mphephu but we dont think Chief Mulima would have agreed to have another chief on his land. We believe the land that Chief Muila occupies and everything on it belongs to Chief Mulima. We will embark on a serious protest actions to ensure that what is rightfully our is returned. We cannot stand idle when the gold mine that is righfully ours is not benefitting ours. We see this as akin to the Israeli-Palestine conflict where a new comer takes over the territory from people who were already there when they arrived. We will fight this in our time IT IS OUR LAND AND OUR GOLD MINE we want it back. Our people want job opportunities and royalties from our mine. You guys will have to go back to Sereni where you come from we will see to that. We mean business this time around.
