CIDCO which is fundamentally a Town Planning agency for this area is falling short when it comes to maintaining & improving the services in Kharghar, Kamothe & Kalamboli & Panvel area. CIDCO is completely ill-equipped with its powerless and dispassionate departments to manage the newer challenges of this area like:

2.     illegal hoardings

3.     fast growing slums

4.     public transport like auto-rickshaw

5.     water supply

6.     road lights

7.     Golf Course

8.     Central Park

9.     Garbage collection

10.  Illegal activities under taxi stands

11.  Stray animals and many more...  

It is a daily challenge for the common citizens in this area living with the above struggles and it is a matter of time when common hassled but agitated people will come on roads for the morchas and protests. 

As the population is growing exponentially in this area, its a high time to bifurcate the responsibilities on the similar successful model of Nerul, Sanpada & Vashi that maintenance & services should be handled by a Municipal Corporation while the Town Planning should be continued by CIDCO.
