Lavasa is India's first Smart City and a Project with great potential for both investors and home owners. It also houses a number of senior citizens and a dedicated colony of Ashiana Senior Citizens Home Project.
Unfortunately the Project completion has been constrained due to the financial woes of the Project Leaders LCC , and there has been very little development  even after work resumed on the Project post MOEF clearances. The existing infrastructure at Dasve town is beginning to show lack of maintenance and a number of buildings remain unfinished. Work has not even started on the next township of Mugaon for which bookings were accepted. This is causing considerable hardship to over 1000 Property Owners, Small businesses and other investors in Lavasa.

We would urgently appeal to the Centre and State Governments to come up with a viable salvage program for this Project ,which has the potential of being a flagship for the State and also to protect the interests of Lavasa citizens who have invested in the same in good faith.

Whilst supporting LCC in future development plans, we would also request that due checks are put into place for proper governance and citizens are protected from the arbitrary levy of charges, taxes etc. by the Corporation, pending resolution of promised delivery, development and infrastructure issues.
