Due to illegal slaughter houses, animal and chicken farms, Kerala is a stinking State. Open defecation has never been so much a problem in Kerala when compared to dumping of slaughter waste in the road sides, water bodies and all over the land. Only way to stop this practice is to impose environmental tax to animal and chicken farms and slaughter houses and take action to close down illegal slaughter houses. If this is done, then the dog menace will disappear, the epidemics will stop, and general health of the people will improve. Tourism will also bloom if cleanliness improves.
