Manikonda is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Hyderabad, one with a budgetary allocation of over 100 crores per annum, yet we do not have able administrator preferably an IAS officer in the rank of Addl. Collector assigned to our Municipality. One of the closest Municipalities to Hitech City & Financial District, yet it does not have an IAS Officer / Nodal Officer.  

Without an able administrator preferably an IAS officer in the rank of Addl. Collector, there is rampant corruption, builder-bureaucrat nexus, illegal occupation of parks, open spaces, encroachment on endowment lands and roads, etc.

3. Endowment lands, open spaces etc.

4. Property Tax Assessment issues.

5. Misuse of MC ID & password etc.

6. Suspension of 3 TPOs, DE, AE & Manager etc.

We are a population of about 7 lakhs who mostly comprise of families whose earning members work predominantly in the IT/ITES/EdTech/BFSI verticals, Cine & Movie artists, contributing to the GDP of the state as well as the Country in a way that is unmatched, in a very progressive way.

We request the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri KCR Garu & Hon'ble MAUD Minister KTR Garu to kindly post an IAS officer as Commissioner so that our Tax money will be put to use efficiently/effectively. Encroachment of parks, footpaths and common areas can be curbed effectively and preserve the value that Manikonda has as a real estate destination for the middle-income professionals in Hyderabad. We also request you to kindly enforce proper building regulations.

Our humble request is to take care of the below:

a. Effective municipal administration

b. Proper utilization & prioritization of budget allocation

c. Ensure supply of safe Drinking Water (#IASforManikonda)

d. Efficient resolution of Property tax issues

e. Timely resolution of complaints posted in citizens buddy app

f. Post requisite staff in the municipality for proper & efficient functioning of Manikonda municipal administration. 

g. List all open spaces with survey number ward wise in municipal office for public view

h. Audited accounts tabled in council meeting and sent to ward committees
