Dear Colleagues, Supporters and Honourable Decision Makers/Recipients of this 18 month old petition, Its indeed been a mixed yet historic year for severely troubled home buyers as this enclosed report states. Yes, RERA has been announced but implemented in its true spirit in only 2 states out of India's 29 states-a glaring example of crass disrespect of any governance has been Haryana under Chief Minister Mr Khatter of the ruling political party in India currrently with HQ at Gurugram right across an hours drive from Honourable Prime Minisiter Shri Narendra Modi's office in New Delhi. Hopefully a road map will emerge soon to end woes of honest tax compliant citizens who have invested their life time savings for a home in India to be cheated by influential realtors who know what to take care of to manage situations. We all need to remain very obliged to Honourable Chief Justice of India Shri Dipak Misra of Supreme Court who has been waging a war against cheated home buyers and big fish like Gaurs of Jaypee/Chandras of Unitech have been taken inside bars under his tutelage. Lets all hope 2018 brings much needed relief to distressed home buyers some of whom have lost lives in this anguish.
