Dear Friends and Supporters, This interesting clipping from Economic Times referring to our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's point is well taken but our submission to Honourable PM is that even after more than a year of announcement of RERA as a gift from you to the nation, why is it still not being implemented in its true spirit? Why are even BJP governed states watering it down significantly to help builders and burn a smaller hole in their pockets when they have cheated us and tortured us for years and played with our hard earned life time savings. Yes, we all agree that UPA Govt earlier did not implement RERA but that does not take away the responsibility of the subsequent Govt under your charismatic leadership to provide justice to hundreds of thousands cheated middle class home buyers. A big case in point is the current Unitech drama where 20000 famiies(sr citizens, war widows, professionals, defence services personnel, senior citizens, scientists, teachers /others are being tortured as time flies by and forced to bear expensive litigation costs to get back one's own hard earned money from the clutches of cheats. You are India's face and ambassador and interface to the world and we all respect your efforts to usher in development for all by bringing in foreign investments/create more opportunities but dont you think we are presenting a very poor image of India to the world of corrupt practices and 'might is right' ethos when so many citizens are positioned to be ruined. We all saw what Mr Vijaya Mallya of defunct Kingfisher Airlines did and managed to give the slip under your Govt itself laundering Billions of USD and escaping to UK-who are sufferers -banks who lent without right due diligence/suppliers/debtors and many many citizens who lost their jobs-ofcourse the country also. We would really appreciate if the Govt Executive works closely with our Honorable Supreme Court in supporting home buyers-in the case of Unitech, taking cues from the Kingfisher fraud fiasco, the promoters who are still in India need to continue to be in jails till they cough up the money/sell off all their assets/commercial buildings/personal assets to pay back severely distressed families. You did promise us in 2014 of getting back all the black money stashed abroad and why a whip cant be cracked which forces this fraud co to get back all our money stashed overseas to save our future-demonetisation was a hard whip and demonstration of brute Govt Executive power to eliminate black money etc and why not a brute whip which forces cheats like Chandra families to get back all the money stashed abroad. Should longer rope be given to such cheats in India? India and the world wants to know?
