It is reported that Govt may appoint receiver for selling properties of Jaypee to safeguard interests of harassed and cheated home buyers by fraud and influential builders. Ministry of Corporate Affairs(MCA) may approach NCLT for relief to home buyers first and proceed with insolvency. If this really happens, we all would be extremely grateful to the Govt for this realisation. Filthy nexus between builders, bureaucrats, Govt executive and Bankers needs to be broken. We appreciate when stressed out farmers loans can be waived off but dont we have a right to life/a future as we are educated middle class and 100 K+ families do not form a big vote bank for power greedy politicians. This case study and the way it is handled will pave the way for other engineered plans of several more cheat builders to give the slip.After all if many people have paid 95% of apartment costs and only 40% work has been done, where is the rest of the money? Coolly siphoned off and now new tricks/tactics to wriggle out. We appreciate UP CM Shri Yogiji and wish others like a timid and corrupt CM of Haryana Mr Khatter takes cues.
