AECS Layout A Block Singasandra-Kudlu is having potential to become very good residential area near to Electronic city , next to HSR Layout. The citizens are entitled to basic hygiene and sanitation facilities. Due to apathy of BBMP, this layout has been infested with large population of stray pigs. Stray pigs can become a very major hazard for the city as they pose severe health and security risk. It also makes the city look dirty and unhygienic. In spite of repeated requests the pig menace is being overlooked by the authorities. Several elderly and small children are exposed to the risks posed by these animals. These pigs enter residential areas and cause major inconvenience and damage to the residential properties. They can become a reason for road accident, viral infections & safety of elderly people and small children. This is the duty of BBMP to provide these basic facilities and in spite of lodging several such grievances on their official site no progress has been reported. We, the citizens of this country, need to rise and join hands to push these authorities into action as we have every right to get these basic services.
