Dear fellow Indians, A staunch nationalist and a YouTuber, Mr Maridhas has been arrested by the Tamil Nadu police on frivolous grounds and his fundamental rights are curtailed undemocratically. In fact, the high court had quashed one of the FIR's slapped against him invoking harsh sections of Indian penal code including the draconian 124A(sedition charges). Despite this, the ruling dispension has been constantly bringing up old and flimsy cases against him to different courts within the state to keep him incarcerated. They keep shuttling him to different sub jails and courts for hearing with absolute disregard to the rights of a prisoner. This has caused a lot of mental agony to him and his family, and for what? for being a nationalist and speaking against the ruling party(DMK)! If this fascist trend continues, liberal values enshrined in the constitution and the fundamental rights guaranteed by it will become a joke. The state government is making a mockery of the judicial process even when recently Honbl Supreme court had reiterated the legal principle that "BAIL IS THE NORM AND JAIL IS AN EXCEPTION". I urge you all to spread the word and do the needful.
