The Vic is at risk - please help keep it a pub!
The Victoria Inn in West Marden is a brilliant pub, in a stunning location, and is the heart of our community.

Now it is up for sale and we risk losing it.

The pub has brought people together, mourners, dancers, birthday and christmas celebrators, rugby watchers, cricket teams, weddings and more - it is the kind of place where the whole community gets invited. Including four legged ones. It's the kind of place lovers meet on dates, walkers and ramblers stop for a coffee or a pint, aspiring musicians get going, mummers perform and where we all stop and take life lightly, together. You may know it for it's food, and for the awesome previous landlords - Donna & Toby.

We ask the Parish Council and planners at Chichester District Council to hear us, please keep our pub a pub and lock in a clause to prevent change of use, so that we don't risk losing it, and ensuring that whoever buys it knows that the community is here and waiting to support that business. Anyone looking to develop property can look elsewhere, this clause will make it clear to everyone. In signing this petition you add your name in support of locking in a planning clause to keep the Victoria Inn, West Marden, a pub.
