Plato Learning Academy has been serving K-8 students in the Austin neighborhood for 10+ years. While the school has remained at a Level 2 for the past few years, we have been showing great strides towards academic improvement. For example, Plato moved its Diverse Learners in Math Growth from the 3rd Percentile to the 63rd Percentile. Additionally, students in grades 3-8 increased their Math Growth from the 18th Percentile to the 42nd Percentile. Overall, the school's total score grew from 2.1 to 2.5 in one year meaning that we are halfway to our goal of achieving a 3.0 (or a level 2+ status). 

Unfortunately, CPS policies state that if a contract school remains at a Level 2 status for consecutive years, it becomes eligible for closure.
