The City of Chicago MUST REOPEN the Belmont Western Police station which was closed several years ago. Reopening this station will provide additional police presence and support for Roscoe Village, North Center, Logan Square, Bucktown, Wicker Park, and Hamlin Park.

• Since this station has closed, crime in the area has increased significantly.
• This location is a central hub for accessibility to all these neighborhoods.
• Crime will be reduced in all of the surrounding neighborhoods if the city were to reopen this location.
• 911 calls would be handled with a greater response and more effectiveness.
• Additional police presence would make residents feel safer and more secure.
• Shootings, carjackings and robberies would decrease significantly.

The Time is NOW for the City of Chicago to listen to the community and tax payers. We want our neighborhood safe.
