Corporation Road is not the best road to drive on. But some of us are forced to, for either we live on the road, or our school is located there.

There are two schools and one nursery on the road. Apart from this, many residential areas and even a health care centre is situated on the road. 

Corporation Road is a Black Spot.

1. A few months ago, a sinkhole formed in the road. Instead of fixing it, it was filled with sand.
2. Further down, a road block for some construction has been put up. It has been there for a month, and there is no sign of it being removed any time soon.
3. Many lorries are parked on either side of the road, and also a line of lorries can be found on the road from 5 am to 8 pm.Since the lane is narrow, especially where the roadblock has been setup, traffic jams are common especially during school traffic hours.
4. Many accidents have have happened especially with two-wheelers which have fallen down.
5. Also, the entire road is quite polluted with dust from the dump trucks.
6. The entrance of the road is littered with potholes.

So, our demands to the Corporation of Chennai are - 

1. To fix the potholes and the sinkhole.
2. To clear the roadblock as soon as possible.
3. To prevent the entry of lorries into the road from 7:30 am to 9:00 am in the morning and from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm in the evening.
