Due to the decision by the Board of Education to return to a 5-day schedule in spite of numerous facts being given by superintendent Jimmy Lenderman that show the current 4-day schedule is an overall success. The Board of Education has ignored these facts, they have ignored the public, and have placed Mr. Lenderman in a hostile work environment. Lenderman has done so much for this school district and without him, Chattooga County Schools would not be where they are today. Not many Superintendents can walk into a classroom and be greeted by the students who know him by name. After 12 years of school, I couldn't tell you what any of my superintendents looked like. His dedication is one from the heart and I am urging everyone to sign this petition to make the Board of Education Leave Lenderman in office. He has our children's best interest at heart, unlike the 4 board members that destructively voted on a serious and controversial topic without doing any research and being able to show tangible evidence to support their decision. Chattooga County wants to keep Mr. Lenderman.
