Internet access is a huge part of day-to-day life.  The best internet service available for our location is Satellite (HughesNet in particular) and that is so-so at best.  High speed internet would be a huge benefit for many people around the Machickanee Flowage area.  People who work from home, have at home businesses, use streaming & online shopping services, pay bills and manage their finances. There are many more reasons, but one of the biggest is reliability.  As it stands now, when the weather turns bad or the trees fill out with leaves or the winds blows to hard, the reception turns bad.  This is a detriment to people who rely on the internet.  Another reason to have high speed internet is the upload and download speeds provided and the reliability offered.  I work from home and have not been able to upload important proposals that have led to missed opportunities and lost dollars!  

The pandemic caused people to shift in their ways to not only create income but how they provide for their families.  High speed internet is a must. 

The option to choose cable TV over satellite TV, is another reason to bring high speed Cable/Internet to our area.
