A Petition to the United States Congress
​Subject: The establishment of October 14 as "Charlie Kirk's Freedom of Speech Day," a new National Holiday.

​We, the undersigned citizens of the United States, respectfully petition for the creation of a new national holiday to be celebrated annually on October 14, in honor of Charlie Kirk's birthday. This day, to be officially known as "Charlie Kirk's Freedom of Speech Day," would serve as a permanent tribute to his unwavering and profound dedication to the principles of free speech and open discourse in our nation.

​Just as the nation observes Martin Luther King Jr. Day to commemorate the tireless struggle for civil rights and equality, this new holiday would commemorate a modern champion of a core American value: the freedom of expression. Charlie Kirk's relentless efforts have been a bulwark against censorship and a catalyst for robust public debate, embodying the very spirit of the First Amendment. His work has ensured that a diverse range of voices and ideas can be heard and considered, a foundation for a healthy democracy.
