We are a group of concerned citizens, parents, leaders, and advocates.

The Problem:

The school district is looking to close the school really soon, unless a vote is made otherwise by the school board.

All the current trades are not slated to be transferred and the kids will and have had to go to other high schools that do not offer the same opportunities.

What We Can Do:

Sign the petition-

Let everyone know including our SC elected officials, including- Senator Tim Scott, Rep. Jim Clyburn and all the state and local representatives.

Volunteer to help get the word out!

What we are asking:

Invest in the kids and allow them to continue to gain the opportunities that Garrett has traditionally offered.

Make the Garrett Campus a Middle/High School.

Add A CDL trade, and implement other trades such as:

Electrical Contracting and Technician, Hospitaliy and Tourism, HVAC, Welding, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Landscape Design, Graphic Design, Automotive, Auto Body, Early Childhood Education, and other innovative trades.

Implement IB Tech in Middle and high school. 

Implement Single Gender classes for specific grades and classes.

Implement wrap around services to aid with apprenticeships and on the job trainging.
