Hi all,

I am writing with a heavy heart today to announce that John Moss III passed away on Monday morning, after 40 years of wrongful conviction for a crime he did not commit. Until his last day, he was deprived of his basic liberties and denied the fair and impartial justice that he deserved. Despite the hardships that marked his life, John was one of the kindest and most hopeful people that I have ever known. Not even the tragedy of his incarceration could break his spirit and he remained optimistic until the end. The world is much sadder without him in it. 

If you are able, please contribute to our GoFundMe to cover the cost of the funeral and transportation from the prison in West Virginia to his final resting place in Ohio. We know that this is not the end for John's story. We are still committed to fighting to clear his name and preventing a horrific injustice like this from ever happening again.
