Rep. Rick Nolan (D-Minn.) introduced a bill Friday that would prevent members of Congress from getting paid in the event of a government shutdown.

THIS IS NOT ENOUGH.

it is time that WE, THE PEOPLE are actually served by our elected representatives.  And if those representatives refuse to work and shut down the government, they need to be removed from office immediately.

We urge you to immediately sponsor a bill providing for the removal of any elected representative who participates in a government shutdown, or otherwise refuses to perform the duties for which he was elected.
