Hold medicaid accountable for not providing Angelina Facciolo what she needs!

At nine months old, Angelina was diagnosed with SMA. Since that time her parents have struggled and fought to provide the things Angelina needs to have a whole and happy childhood. Angelina will never crawl or walk but she can have independence in the form of an electric wheel chair. She has a borrowed chair but it is not fit to her body and it can be taken back at any time.
In November 2013, her parents petitioned Medicaid for a chair for Angelina. These chairs cost around $28,000 if her parents were to buy it out of pocket. Medicaid denied the request several times before finally approving it. The family were excited to be able to get Angelina's chair this month only to have Medicaid delay again, saying that more information was needed.
This is a family who want only the best for their daughter. Help us make sure that this precious child has what she needs to be independent.
Tell Medicaid it is NOT okay to deny anyone but especially children with SMA, the items and care they need to live a full and whole life.
