We Americans call on the Democratic Caucus of the United States Senate to HOLD* all Donald Trump appointments until he makes the necessary concessions on ALL of his executive orders, which have compromised not only our global standing, but our national security and economic sanctity.

Our government was constructed on checks and balances. While there is an opportunity for the judicial branch to engage the Trump administration, our TRUE first line of defense is the Senate Democratic Caucus. 

By holding ALL of Donald Trump's nominees, the Caucus uses a bargaining tool to bring the Trump administration to the table for serious negotiations on how our country will be run over the next four years.

*In the United States Senate, a hold is a parliamentary procedure permitted by the Standing Rules of the United States Senate which allows one or more Senators to prevent a motion from reaching a vote on the Senate floor.

If the Senator provides notice privately to his or her party leadership of their intent (and the party leadership agreed), then the hold is known as a secret or anonymous hold. If the Senator actually objects on the Senate floor or the hold is publicly revealed, then the hold is more generally known as a Senatorial hold.
