Westwood High School PTSA and Westwood Athletic Support Club are advocating for the Westwood High School Football team to play its homecoming game on Westwood's football field Saturday October 27, 2018.  Your voice will help convince the Shelby County Interscholastic Athletic Association (SCIAA) and Shelby County Schools (SCS) that the Westwood community is ready to support football back at the school. We will ask SCIAA for special consideration to play the game on Saturday October 27, 2018, contingent on us doing our part  by 1) Addressing the issue with low fencing between the football field and Westwood Park,  2) Securing and installing bleachers (temporary or permanent) for attendees, and 3)  Security and concessions.

If we do not succeed in convincing SCIAA and SCS that the Westwood Community and the Westwood Alumni can support the homecoming game at Westwood, it will be played on Friday October 26, 2018 at Whitehaven Stadium.

The condition of the field is excellent!  The Westwood High School Soccer teams are playing home games there now!   Please spread the word and support us!!!  It's time to bring the Longhorns back home!!!!!!
