Are you in favour of our Home Exchange community turning into AirBnB light?
GuestToGuest has bought Home Exchange (and you and your house) for the price of 35 million USD as part of an aggressive plan to reach one million users by 2019.
The new management has merged the two platforms and introduced:

• Guest Points: GPs are a form of virtual currency. If you as a member do not have enough points to stay in the desired home you can purchase points from HE with real money. 
• Dividing and ranking members: Do you have a big house with a swimming pool in an attractive, metropolitan are? Then you get more points. Do you live in the surbubs in a not so touristy area? Well, then you get less points.
• Merging the two different membership bases - GTG and HE - despite initial announcement not to do so: New management has stated, “While there will be strong affinity between platforms, both brands will remain separate and continue to function within their own targeted spaces and membership base”. March 2017: GuestToGuest Expands World’s Largest Home Exchange Community and Bolsters U.S. Market with Purchase of HomeExchange

We want Home Exchange to:

• Eliminate Guest Points and end the monetization of our homes. 
•  Re-instate the Balloon Program or something similar.
