Good Afternoon Everyone Its been a bit since I've posted, but thought I may do a brief very important post this afternoon. A brief post. The system our disabled children are in - in Texas is very dangerous and harmful to our children and their families. Although, the Unlawful Texas Education Agency 8.5% Cap has been removed, the corrupt individuals that control this system are still in power. We have to do more. We have to keep fighting harder and stronger. I implore y'all to ask that any attorney such as NONA MATTHEWS be removed from your ARDs. This woman is using our children to make profits. It doesn't stop at NONA MATTHEWS. It goes much deeper. She convinces school employees to lie. She tampers with evidence. The disgusting harm she has brought to our family ALONG WITH OTHERS that were involved in hurting our son - have been untouchable and its time to sink that ship, but we cannot do it without everyone of y'all contributing to do everything in your power to stop this corruption in its tracks. You as parents, have so much more power to do for your children than anyone. Have faith in yourself and when you are not sure of your own advocacy, reach out to others, research etc., but do not hire SOME of these attorneys without fully researching them first and for damn sure make sure those like NONA MATTHEWS never attend your child's ARDs. The only way we can break this corrupt system is to start bringing change ourselves. We must change our mode of operation and be the best advocates for our own children that we can. Do not hire just any advocate. There are GREAT ones out there. I have met quite a few, but make sure all are on the same page as yourselves. Many of these attorneys don't give a shit about our children, but you do. Fight hard. Fight for the children. Bring change, by being the change. Every decision you make ultimately helps other children and their families take a stand and change this present system that has lead to suicide ideation in many of our children. Its NOT about the money - it is about the money for the corrupt, but for us - its about our children. I IMPLORE y'all to not ever be in the same room as attorneys such as NONA MATTHEWS again. Walk out. Fight against the corrupt machine one step at a time. Be the change our children need. I posted the above song in honor of our son, C.C. - HE WAS NEVER WHO THEY SAID HE WAS AND BY GOD - AFTER SPEAKING WITH HIM THE OTHER NIGHT - I WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING FOR THIS BOY.
