Charge Kiarra Jones with First Degree Assault for beating on Autistic Children

The Issue

Kiarra Jones, a Littleton school bus assistant repeatedly abused at least two severely disabled boys during trips to and from a school for kids with autism and developmental disabilities, police said, and they fear there could be additional victims.

Police said in her seven-month tenure as an assistant on a school bus for kids with special needs, she hit and physically abused at least two children by pulling their hair, elbowing them in the face, stomach, and back, and flicking their faces.

Neither of the boys can talk, but both were crying during the episodes on the bus, police documents said

In addition, families noticed shifts in behavior, physical injuries, unexplained scratches, bruises, a lost tooth, a broken toe, a black eye and other deep bruises on their bodies and feet.

Of which Kiarra Jones, a 29-year-has been charged with a low-level felony on assault charges which this will allow her to walk free and possibly with only probation but not any prison time. With that being said, if you sign this petition there could be a chance that the judge can upgrade her charges to first degree assault to ensure she is held accountable and gets prison time. As this isn’t her first and probably won’t be her last time if she walks out free.
