We cannot stand by and watch as Jennifer Soto escapes justice after claiming ignorance to the abuse and eventual death of her own daughter, Madeline Soto. Madeline was a victim of constant sexual abuse perpetrated by Jennifer's on-off boyfriend, Stephan Sterns, often left alone with him at night by Jennifer herself. This irresponsible and neglectful act led to a tragic conclusion. We believe that Jennifer's claim of ignorance is unacceptable and she should be held accountable for her part in this heartbreaking situation. It's time the authorities recognized her role in Madeline's victimization.

We are calling on local law enforcement and the justice system not to let another child's story become a mere statistic. We demand that Jennifer Soto be charged in the wrongful death of her daughter, Madeline Soto, as a result of the sexual abuse suffered at the hands of Stephen Sterns.
