I am an 18-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2008, I was deployed to Afghanistan, and throughout my career, I have been part of domestic supporting operations. Treason was a topic we covered extensively during basic training, and it remained a point of focus throughout my service. 

This petition is being raised due to the actions of Jeffrey Rath, which I believe align with those outlined in the offences of treason as described in Canadian law. In our country, treason is defined not only as actions of disloyalty towards the nation but as betrayal that could undermine national stability and security. Understanding this definition, I find it imperative that Jeffrey Rath be held accountable under these terms.

We are in a trade war with the USA.
