Charge General Hemedti in the ICC

The issue

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF), under the command of General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as Hemedti, have been accused of numerous human rights violations and atrocities against civilians in Sudan. The situation is dire, and the violence has reached such an alarming scale that it is visible from satellite imagery. This cannot continue unchecked.

As a concerned individual who has been following the devastating impact of the RSF's actions, I am deeply troubled by the lack of accountability for those in power who perpetrate violence against innocent civilians. Families are being torn apart, livelihoods destroyed, and hope extinguished by the continuous assaults of the RSF.

It is essential that the international community holds General Hemedti accountable for his actions. The International Criminal Court (ICC) is the appropriate body to investigate and, if necessary, prosecute these crimes. Charging Hemedti is not only a step towards justice for the victims but also a crucial deterrent to other leaders who may contemplate similar acts of cruelty.

Documentation and evidence of the RSF's actions are overwhelming and publicly available, showing targeted attacks on civilian populations, mass killings, and systematic violations of human rights. The international community cannot ignore these reports.

We urge the ICC to take swift action and open an investigation into General Hemedti's actions in Sudan. Doing so will send a strong message that the world will not tolerate impunity for human rights violators.

Please join me in calling for justice for Sudanese civilians by signing this petition. Together, we can push for necessary legal action and pave the way for peace and accountability in Sudan.
