This petition is raised in light of an unspeakable tragedy that saw the loss of three young girls. Axel Rudokabana, a student with a repeated history of carrying knives in school, had fatally injured three children at a dance studio Alarmingly, Axel had been caught with a knife at his educational institution on ten distinct occasions, but his parents failed to intervene or prevent him from obtaining such dangerous tools. The inaction and negligence of Axel's parents have arguably contributed to a climate of violence that tragically ended in the loss of innocent lives. 

Research shows that parental responsibility and involvement in a child's life can significantly influence their behaviors and decisions (Center for Disease Control and Prevention). We believe Axel's parents should have taken the necessary measures to stop their son from carrying knives into school premises — protection of our children should be a paramount obligation that all guardians must assume.

We seek justice for the three innocent lives lost and to set a precedent that would deter similar incidents in the future. Therefore, we demand that legal action be taken against Axel Rudokabana's parents for their proven negligence, as they allowed him to persistently possess knives despite knowing the danger.
