Chardon's beautiful and historic Square deserves a community building that blends with the historic district architecture and emphasizes the harmony our city has with nature.  We believe the currently proposed design is extremely out-of-place and does not represent our history as a city.  Any building built today is likely to stand for decades - perhaps the next 50 years.  Let's make this a building that is more than purely functional, a building with character that is attractive and harmonious with our historic Main Street and Courthouse. 

We respectfully ask that Chardon City Council call for a re-design of the proposed Heritage House for Chardon Square.
