Save Chapel Point’s Green Space

Save Chapel Point’s Green Space

The Issue

Lincolnshire’s beautiful countryside meeting the coast has been recognised and is now being celebrated as the Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park. The southern “gateway” to the countpark is at Chapel Point which has a lovely green space enjoyed by many people daily.

Dog walkers play with their dogs and take a break on the benches.

Children play.

Families picnic.

The council now want to destroy our green space to put in a pay and display car park - there is already sufficient car parking adjacent to the green space and at multiple beach reserves along the coast.

Chapel Point residents have done a great job collecting signatures on paper locally but the internet can help us reach out further - after all many people come to our area from towns and cities to enjoy what we have here. We need to make ourselves heard and keep hold of these special little places before it’s too late!
