Apologise for blaming revenge porn victims!
The issue
Recently several nude photos of Adelaide women and girls have been shared as revenge porn on a US website. Some of the images shared were of underage girls. On 17 June 2015 Sunrise wrote a Facebook post stating 'What's it going to take for women to get the message about taking and sending nude photos?'
Tell Sunrise to apologise for this awful and damaging statement! It is never the fault of women or girls for sharing nude photos or trusting their partners. It is the fault of organised predatory, spiteful people who have abused trust. Due to these people's actions these images are now open to further misuse and unconsensual sharing. It is time for Sunrise to put the blame where it really lies - on the people who share private pictures to ruin someone's life and the culture that dismisses this!
