It was brought to my attention today in regards to Sam Newmans disgusting and vile transphobic comments on the Footy Show, he needs to apologise and be pulled off the air as this is not tolerated and he should be held accountable for his actions.

Sam Newmans comments regarding a well known trans woman "I know who He/It is, well what is she?"

We have made a lot of progress within the AFL regarding trans people in sport, myself being the first transgender goal umpire for Australian Rules Football has alway felt a part of the community, comments like Sam's are archaic and uneducated and down right ignorant!!

We need to take a stand! There is no place for transphobic behaviour within the AFL and in all of the sporting community.
