I have been an AFL fan for as long as I can remember, having been a member of the Sydney Swans since 2005. I really enjoy The Front Bar with Andy Maher, Mick Molloy and Sam Pang. I personally think it's one of the best shows on Australian television and I encourage the trio to keep going with the great stuff they do on the show. The problem is that I live in Sydney, and for whatever reason, The Seven Network in New South Wales and Queensland is still refusing to broadcast the show live and instead broadcasts it at Midnight or later when a lot less people would be awake to watch it.

The Seven Network has four channels: 7, 7Two, 7flix and 7mate where all AFL broadcasts in the northern states are shown. It doesn't matter if NSW & Queensland are not "Traditional AFL States", the sport has become increasing popular lately north of the Murray River. Particularly in NSW where both the Swans and the GWS Giants are currently playing really good footy & drawing good crowd sizes to home games (Swans averaging over 30000).

As a result, I feel it would be really beneficial for The Seven Network to broadcast The Front Bar live in NSW & Queensland. It can both boost ratings for the network and help to get more people interested in the sport. Here are two ways this can be achieved:

A. Using the same broadcasting schedule on 7 as it currently is in Melbourne

B. Pushing the other shows or movie on 7mate back to a later time slot and broadcasting The Front Bar live there.
