Let me confess something: I have watched Big Brother for a long time now, both on Channel 4 & Channel 5 and both it's normal and Celebrity formats. To me it is quite entertaining to watch, as it is interesting to see how a group of people would react to each other when having to stay in the house for a couple of weeks. It is always a fun watch for me.

However, some of its appeal has lessened for me (and for many others) recently. This is due to one man: Perez Hilton. Initially, I didn't know what to make of him, knowing only that he was a very popular online blogger with a large audience, and to me it seemed interesting at first what kind of person he would be. After viewing his unacceptable behaviour on the show for over the past week, leads me to the conclusion that he is a horrid and disgraceful person, whose disgusting actions should get him kicked out of the Big Brother house.

This includes being patronizing to many of the housemates (i.e. criticizing Katie Hopkins for her past actions), rude (i.e. fake coughing in his sleep to disturb fellow housemates including Alexander O' Neal) and being manipulative (i.e. making fellow housemates Nadia Sawalha & Alicia Douvall to argue for him with other housemates). The nadir of his behaviour was when he ran out into the Big Brother garden and behaved appallingly, by swearing non-stop, stripping, rubbing his butt cheeks against a window and pretended to have sexual intercourse on a chair (clip:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2913983/Don-t-judge-gay-community-Michelle-Visage-makes-public-plea-Perez-Hilton-strips-enacts-sexual-positions-CBB.html). To say this is crass is the understatement of the year.

I understand that this is what might make the show appealing to many, but to me it is terrible behaviour, and considering that two housemates (Jeremy Jackson & Ken Morley) have already been removed from the house for having done equally appalling behaviour, it only makes sense to me to get rid of Perez as well, as not only is his behaviour as terrible as the aformentioned housemates that have left the house, but even more so, as he has been allowed to get away with it without any consequence whatsoever. It is because of this that I believe that Perez should be removed from the Big Brother house. Even Perez has said that he wants to leave the house. Let's make it happen quicker for him.
