Channel 4's program - "The Romanians are coming" is purposely dehumanizing and through its misleading nature it is used to promote a false image of Romania and it's people in the mind of others. They are telling ONLY the stories of Rromi and a minority of Romanians, who upon arrival, have had to sleep on the streets or in empty buildings, whilst struggling to make ends meet. There is no variety in their stories. There are no stories about the doctors, the lawyers, the teachers, the police officers, the journalists, the designers, etc. To add insult to the injury the background music is very similar to the music used in "Gypsy Travellers" and the narrator speaks very poor English.

For this program to be called a documentary a variety of stories should be presented. The good, the bad and the in-between, otherwise this program is nothing but propaganda.

It is important for us to make a stand and to make sure our voices are heard! We cannot let our name be tarnished and blemished for the sake of Chanel's 4 audience.
