I read an article about two female beluga whales, Little White and Little Grey, who we’re taken out of their home, and away from their mothers for no apparent reason. They were both perfectly healthy and didn’t need human care. After they were captured they went to an aquarium called Changfeng Ocean World in Shanghai, China. They had to do tricks for paying tourists in a small tank daily. They now live in a safer place, Sea Life Trust Beluga Whale Sanctuary, the worlds first beluga sanctuary. But there’s many, many other animals in the aquarium who probably could’ve had a better life if they weren’t captured. Some may have needed attention and we should find better homes for them in places like Sea Life Trust.
