Amazing! Over 1,000 signatures supporting the petition to #changethedateto to Jan1! Australia Day on Jan26 makes no sense. It's divisive. Jan1 1901 is when Australia became a Federated Nation. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people deserve more respect as the custodians of this land for 65,000 years! Yet not one national public holiday for Indigenous people in Australia.
