Edit: It has been pointed out to me that not everyone wants GW removed entirely, a large number would prefer changes made and frequency reduced instead. I can appreciate that so I am altering the scope of the petition. I hope nobody finds this to be disingenuous, I am just trying to serve the largest portion of the player base that I can. (If you are 100% for the removal of Gw and not interested in the event being altered, let me know and I will manually remove your support for the current iteration of the petition, once again I apologise for the change.)

• We would like other events to be run more often and Gw less, so we have variety. 
• For Gw itself to be altered in order to make it fun, worth playing and not such a drain on resources.
• For the event times to be more accessible for everyone, either selectable like Pompeii or varied set times that suit a global player base. Not just one time zone.
• For match making to be overhauled completely, this is a problem fundamental to every area of the game and it desperately needs fixing, too often the strongest simply pair up and then it's an event of boredom for everyone else. These matching problems are amplified in Gw due to low participation and the restriction of 4 alliances per map.
   

If you are reading this then it's more than likely you know what this is about and what your feelings are. For those of you who maybe aren't quite so sure: Genesis War in its current state is the worst addition to DLS since the game was released. It is entirely antithetical to everything that makes the game fun, it's slow, rigidly structured, hamstrings riders (who thought 4 alliances nodes was a good idea!?) there is not enough action outside the times IGG sets which do not work for a large portion of the player base, the matching is dreadful, the rewards substandard and worst, feedback seems to fall on deaf ears.

I feel like we need to be loud about this issue as quickly as possible before IGG spend even more time and money on development in a direction the players won't like and become further entrenched and less likely to listen to suggestions for change.

They could easily bring back IR or DS, instead we do GW 3 times a month. There is absolutely no reason for this, none at all. particularly when there are other events ready to go which while not perfect, would at least represent some variety.
