Jermaine “Manny” Goffigan was a 9yr old boy shot and killed on Halloween (1994), while celebrating his 9th birthday and trick or treating with friends and family . Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino (rest his soul) promised Jermaine Goffigan’s Mom and family that the City would change Weaver Way, Roxbury to Jermaine Goffigan way (in honor of Jermaine and the impact he has on the community).
