Change UO Student Ticket System

Change UO Student Ticket System
The Issue
As students at the University of Oregon, we are frustrated and disappointed with the current ticket distribution system for sporting events. Having invested $175 in a sports pass, expecting a fair opportunity to attend games, we instead find ourselves subjected to a random lottery system. This unpredictable method often leaves dedicated students, particularly upperclassmen who have supported UO sports for several years, without tickets to events they are passionate about.
We urge the University of Oregon administration to reconsider the current lottery-based system and adopt a seniority-based approach or first come first serve for student ticket distribution. Let us create a fair environment where commitment and loyalty are recognized and rewarded, enhancing the student experience and the electrifying atmosphere at our sports events. Sign this petition to make your voice heard and drive change for a fairer ticket distribution system.
