They have recently stated they will be wheeling out wheelie bins to our local area after years of using bags! 

we are a small town that is quite compact and have very narrow path and lanes , they now want to roll out wheelie bins for collection once every two weeks! Compared to a collection of bags once a week! 

a lot of people do not have the access or space for the bins so these bins will litter the streets for the rest of time causing an obstruction on the path ways , potential hazard for traffic , potentially damage to houses and cars in windy weather and just an eye sore for this beautiful old town community!

 If we can get enough people to vote against this we may be able to change their minds before it’s to late! I don’t think people realise just how useless bins are! 

the short time I lived in Peterborough I had to use bins and ended up filling them within the first week (me, my partner and my son mind), I left bags at the side of the bin for collection and they never went … after some back and forth with the council I got slapped with a fly tipping fine due to them being left on the street so long! Don’t think they won’t do that here because they will!
