This stretch of road has been a concern for a long time and is another serious accident waiting to happen, the junctions at those crossroads are a hazard to pull out onto the A947, between vision restrictions and the speed as to which the road is set at, We are looking for assistance with getting the speed limit on that stretch of road reduced, to either 50mph or even better a 40mph speed limit, which can then ensure that local residents are not having to play Russian roulette everytime they need to attempt to access the main road, also there are children who catch school buses, elderly and children also catch the 35 on this road which does not have clear visibility for crossing.
Last year the bus stop across the road had been wiped out by a lorry which also took out a part of the house which stands at the road side. a tragic accident recently claimed a life and many other near misses and fortunately not serious accidents have taken place here on this stretch of road.
secondly we would like to see if there are some measures that could be put into place to make the visibility of that junctions better and safer, there is also a debris problem which washes across the road from the opposite side of the crossroads which again poses a hazard to everyone using theses roads as usually quite large stone wash all across the road during heavy rain which is very dangerous for All road users not just local residents.
