Scottish judge, Lord Lake has sentenced a child rapist to a community payback order for raping a thirteen year old child. His barrister, Donald Findlay is going to appeal even this ridiculously lenient sentence.

This petition will be asking Angela Constance, the Minister For Justice in Scotland to comment and The Rt. Hon Dorothy Bain KC as well as the Solicitor General to intervene and change this sentence for an appropriate custodial sentence. We cannot allow rapists to walk out of court with their freedom. With a crime that is already difficult to prosecute, it makes a mockery of our court system and makes it look like child rape and sexual abuse are not taken seriously in this country.
