Change the redistricting proposal so that students neighboring Matterhorn Drive and Forest Trails can continue their education together at their current elementary /middle schools.

The Issue

We represent the 23 children from Matterhorn Drive and Forest Trails.

The Administration has recommended kicking our 23 children out of MES so that ~90 students from neighboring schools can be moved in. Some of those children live .9 miles from there school, and will have to cross major roads 2.2 miles away.

In another option, The Administration proposes to split our neighborhood and send each group to different schools.

Further, the data The Administration presents is incorrect and flawed. So how in good conscience could these proposals been presented?

The members of The Administration have the responsibility to ensure data is accurate.

The result?

Flawed Proposals.

Our children pay the price.

The Administration needs to step back and look at the bigger picture and leave our children where they are.
