Change the official plural word for moose, to meese

The Issue

While talking with my friends about plural nouns, as one does, the topic of a moose came up. Two of us, my best friend and I, argued that the plural form of moose is meese. After all, tooth is teeth, foot is feet, and most importantly, goose is geese. One would think that the word moose, having all but one of the same letters as goose, would follow its excellent plural noun example. But alas! The plural for moose is just moose. Something about that sends a chill down my spine. Despite this issue being seemingly unimportant, it daily haunts my mind. In a world where there are so many social justice issues that feel impossible to rectify, it would be quite nice to prove that we, together, can change something.
